Healthy cooking for one can be a challenge. During the summer of 2016, Southeast Seniors will launch a program to help seniors learn a few techniques for healthy cooking for one. With partners from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, we hope to work with a handful of people in our pilot program. Once we work out the details, we hope to offer this as an ongoing service beginning in September 2016. If you are interested in participating or have some suggestions, please contact the Southeast Seniors office at 612-331-2302 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
It was a wonderful afternoon to celebrate all the things and people that are great in Southeast! We enjoyed delicious food from local restaurants, wonderful music and fabulous auction items. We raised over $9,000 for Southeast Seniors thanks to the over 200 people who attended.
