Southeast Seniors is a non-profit organization of health care professionals and neighbors helping people 65 and older remain independent and safe at home.
Mission statement: Southeast Seniors is a neighbor helping neighbor program that utilizes volunteer and professional staff to help seniors remain safely in their homes with an enhanced quality of life. Sometimes, it is just a simple task that needs doing or some resources that would make a difference. Growing older is much easier and safer when you have the support you need to live well at home. We have professional staff and volunteers here to support you:
If you need support at home, know someone who needs support, or want to volunteer, please give us a call at 612-331-2302. |
Calling All Snow Angels!
A great opportunity to help a neighbor and get some exercise! Southeast Seniors is a SE Minneapolis non-profit organization that helps folks over age 65 stay living independently in their homes. We help neighborhood seniors with their snow removal in two ways. For neighborhood seniors who are not able to pay for snow removal assistance, we do our best to find a Volunteer Snow Angel who can help this neighbor free of charge. Are you (and possibly your roommates & friends) looking for such an opportunity? Or perhaps you want to make a little extra money this winter? For neighborhood seniors who can afford to pay for snow removal, we help them find individuals living nearby who are available for hire. To learn more about either of these opportunities, please reach out to Southeast Seniors at 612-331-2302 or ann@seseniors.org Thank you! |
